Humans of Utica #15
“My childhood, when I was younger, was the happiest time of my life. This was before life got hard and difficult. When I was a child, I never had to worry about anything but to just play and have fun with my brother and sister. Unfortunately, my life got hard. My parents got a divorce, but I didn’t know this actually happened. I’ve heard many stories about it happening, but it didn’t seem real to me when it was with my family. However, I learned that the small things in life are what make you the happiest. My piece of advice for anyone who is having a rough time and is trying to find happiness is to be patient, because it won’t happen immediately. Try and forget about your past and look forward to the good things that are yet to come.”
