Alijah Downey is a sophomore at Utica High school. This is his first year in journalism. He joined this class because he was recommended to and was interested in the many paths that journalism offers. Alijah was also told how journalism is a class that helps people in the future, beyond school. In their free time, they enjoy listening to music, drawing, and occasionally playing video games. An interest of his that goes into all those categories is Sally Face. He’s also a fan of TMNT, with his favorite turtle being Donatello.
