Publication students received Spartan Awards for both yearbook and newspaper, and also learned new techniques from other publication staffs. “Both MIPA field trips help students learn a lot from each other,” alumna Chelsea Koger said, “as well as give a sense of competition, which fuels the excitement for journalism.”
