I woke up today not feeling great, but I ended up getting out of bed and calling out of work. I went with my dad to the lake to see how much it had flooded with the rain, and drove around for a while. We went to the Custard Spot after dinner, which had a very long line.

I’ve been catching up on a lot of sleep lately. I slept for 13 hours Monday night, and 10 on Tuesday night. I have taken a few naps today as well.

There’s a project in chemistry that I’ve been working on for the last couple days, and hopefully this weekend I can bake with my sister.

I spent the last week with my mom, brother and sister, which was great. I haven’t been watching much, or listening to much music, but I have painted a couple things, and cooked a lot. I replaced the batteries in my string lights, and I’m hoping to rearrange them soon.

My plants ended up dying, unfortunately, but I bought a couple seedlings. I’ve been working more recently, getting called in on the weekends and the extra hour or so I stay on my shifts.

I really hope I end up getting new glasses or contacts by the end of quarantine, my eyesight has gotten worse. I have a few books I want to read this weekend, and hopefully I get to them.

With all the time that I have from not sleeping more than three hours a night, I have, unfortunately for everyone close to me, gotten back into my punk/grunge phase. I went through some old cd’s that my brother and I had bought, and started listening to them again. My makeup and fashion have also started straying back to punk, and have been for a while.

Yesterday, I was in the auto repair shop all day. I almost missed my shift at work because of it. There were a lot of people out getting their cars worked on, and quite a few more out driving.

I am also looking for a second job, so that I can help out more with my community, but also somewhere closer to where I am moving. All weekend, my family was out looking around at apartments and houses that they had found listings for.

My math class was learning about SohCahToa today, starting our trigonometry unit. The notes were easy to follow along with, but the homework took almost an hour to finish. I’e gone through a few more of my old playlists, and added some old songs to my phone over the weekend.

I rearranged my room on Saturday, and organized some of my art stuff. My plants are growing well in my windowsill, and I’m thinking of planting more.

I still have to do my english work, but I will probably do that after dinner, since we’re starting a new book as a class.

Today, I have a web-seminar that I’m joining for a virtual college tour. It’s at about 4 pm I believe, and it’s for a tech school in Chicago, IL,. I’m kind of excited about that, because it shows the colleges are still trying to connect.

I do not have work today though, luckily. I will probably be going grocery shopping, getting whatever we need for the next week. With my free time, I’m also going to reorganize and rearrange my room.

I got about 3 hours of sleep last night/this morning between 4 am and 7 am. I was awake and ready to do my work by 8 am, which is odd for my quarantine schedule, completed today’s and some of tomorrows work, and still had time to spend with my dad before I had to go to work. We watched a movie about a non-active duty Marine/police officer breaking is younger brother out of jail.

My shift was a little more hectic than normal. The area manager came in twice, once to drop off our inventory restock, and the other to file paperwork. The manager on duty had told me and my coworker that we were the best employees to work with. We closed a lot quicker tonight than we do regularly, which was nice.

I’ve convinced my friends to do a video call sometime tomorrow, so we can see each others faces again. I don’t know when or how we’re going to manage it, but we will get through it somehow.

Today I completed my entire workload scheduled for today for school, and put together a Lego set with my dad. He has surgery last Monday on his arm, and is in recovery, but I’ve been helping him with everyday things, including making dinner everyday.

My plants have sprouted in my window garden, and they’re growing well. It gives me something to do when I get up in the morning. I have also been doing a lot more art when time allots it.

I miss going to see people when I have time to. I was on the phone with my friends for a few hours today. As soon as quarantine lifts, we are all planning to get together and spend the weekend together somewhere.

My brother just got sick, but its just seasonal allergies, so I have that going for me too these next couple of weeks. My dad got a self quarantine order from his doctor, so for the next 2 weeks I get to spend more time with him too.

What the governor said yesterday ended up putting a damper on my mood, since I will have to both still work this entire time, because I’m deemed essential, and not be able to visit with my mom, brother, and sister for the next few weeks.

With the free time that I’ve gained, there’s been a lot of new music added to my playlist, and I was able to start a small windowsill garden. Its just a few flowers, but nothing has sprouted yet. I’ve also been able to stick closely to my school schedule, with work and sleep.

Yesterday was my birthday, I hung out with some friends and did schoolwork before I had to go into work. My coworkers all said happy birthday to me as well. One of them has a younger sister who’s birthday was yesterday as well.

After work, I went to a friends house, and we played a few games of pool, and played around with their dogs. I stayed over and got home around noon today.

My schedule at work has changed due to the unexpected break, my hours have nearly tripled. Not as many people are coming through, and its difficult to meet up with people when everything is closed and no one is allowed to leave their houses.

Today while getting gas with my mom, I noticed something. The Costco we were driving by had a line the wrapped around one and a half sides of the store. The workers we only letting in a few dozen customers at a time. Just waiting to get gas, there was a line backed up to the road.

Going into work today, there were already so many changes made. I was scheduled from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. originally, so when I had gotten there, the dining area was already closed down. The owners has called around 6 p.m. and told my manager that we were going to close two hours early for the next few weeks, so instead of 10 p.m. we closed at 8 p.m.

Getting home, with almost no energy, I had remembered that I had schoolwork that needed to be done. The absolute worst thing to put off until the end of the day. I printed off nearly 20 pages of work that my teachers sent over Schoology, but with the time off of school and the time gained from work, I should have most of this done in less that 2 weeks.
