Key Club holds canned food drive

Key Club held a canned food drive of November 2015 to help those in need during the holiday season. Some people in our community struggle to provide food for their families especially during this time of year.

“I felt that just by giving a few cans would help people that actually need it,” senior Nicole Miller said.

The club achieved their main goal of providing food to the families who were struggling. Miller thought the idea of holding the drive during the holiday season was great one.

“I think it would bring a little more joy to those who needed the meal,” Miller said.

Many members felt that just by giving a little can help make a huge difference in someone’s life.

“I felt accomplished to help families in the need of a meal,” junior Brittney McIntyre said.

By having the club and the whole school help, a lot of families in the 2015 holiday season were able to have a meal. One small drive can help make a huge difference for those in need during the holiday season.
