Natasha Dabrowski, daughter of teacher Christine Dabrowski, has won a Gold Medal. She represented the U.S.A. in tennis at the Pan American Maccabi Games held in Santiago Chile as a singles player.

 

“When I saw her win the gold medal I was in shock, screamed, and was in tears from her achievement,” Christine said.

It was an incredibly proud moment for the mother-daughter duo.

 

The Maccabi games are a non-profit organization,that help secure the Jewish community by encouraging the pride of Jews through sports. The games seek to develop the the lives of Jewish youth In the United States.

In addition to the gold medal, Dabrowski also won a Silver medal in mixed doubles.She also got herself the inarguable Dolph Schayes Memorial Award, which is given to an athlete that shows spirit through sportsmanship and athletic excellence.

 

Natasha has played tennis all her life. She has trained extra hard, even with having a job on the side. Due to this she had to learn how to successfully manage her time between the two.

 

“It was a dream of a lifetime,” Natasha said. She was proud to represent the U.S. in tennis as a singles and double player.
