Key Club recruits new members through service project requirement

Coming together to help the community is Key Club’s mission.

“I strongly believe in community service and making a community connection,” teacher Joy Greico said, “and that is what Key Club is all about.”

Community service is a requirement for graduation, and Key Club makes it easier to complete these hours.

Key Club’s first meeting took place last month, where aproximately 60 students expressed an interest in joining the organization.

Already, Key Club participated in a Mom2Mom sale, which was held at Beacon Tree Elementary earlier this month.

Throughout the fall and winter, events have been planned, such as a canned food and clothing drive.
