Every senior is required to complete volunteer hours for their senior project. Most students just do volunteer hours, while others create a special event that helps other. Senior Lindsey Michol, has an older sister who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since the 7th grade. Ashley, her older sister, is Lindsey’s role-model. Lindsey will be organizing a MS walk to raise awareness and money for research.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 5th. The event will take place from 12-2:00 p.m. at Swinehart Field. Pre-Registration cost will be $10, and if you register the day of, it will be $15. Pre-Registration for the event will take place during all lunches, from March 18-22 .

“I hope many people will come out and do this event,” senior Lindsey Michol said. “It’s a great event for a great cause.”

Merchandise will also be on sale during the event.  The t-shirts will be $10 & the long-sleeve t-shirts will be $15. There will also be donation jugs at the registration table if you cannot make the event; yet would like to donate to this important cause.
