It doesn’t take insane talent to make you a singer. If you love to sing but have a terrible voice, then the Lip Sync Battle is the thing for you.

Student council will be hosting Utica’s first Lip Sync Battle fundraiser on March 26 in the UHS auditorium at 7 pm.

“We noticed that dodge ball wasn’t getting the same numbers as it was in the past,” teacher Andrea Solomon said, “so we decided to explore ideas.”

If students are interested, mandatory auditions will be held in room 245 on March 21. Interested students must bring their own music to sync to.

“Lip syncing is different from other things that we have done in the past” sophomore Selena Sulaka.

Winners of the battle will receive a prize for their immense lip syncing skills.
