“Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots, good breaks from bad shots and you have to play the ball wherever it lands.” – Bobby Jones

The eight member girls golf team had a fantastic 2020 season, winning almost every one of their games.

“I’m pretty sure we didn’t place,” sophomore Madelynn Cantrell said, “but we won every game we played except for two”.

Cantrell shared a fun story that they always seem to do better on away games on other courses.

“Our course is very challenging,” Cantrell said, “but we use it to our advantage.”

In the perfect not too cold and not too hot temperature, the girls consider their season to be a success, and are ready to do it again next year.
