An informational meeting and pizza dinner is being held Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m in the cafeteria for the boys varsity lacrosse team.

Lacrosse season starts in the spring, but the team is looking for new faces ready to join the team.

“We are always looking for new players,” Coach Rueben Toribio said. “Hopefully some new guys will come out and consider playing.”

Toribio and current players will be attending and any other students interested in playing are encouraged to come. As an added bonus, there will be pizza and refreshments available.

“I am excited to have this get together with the team,” junior captain Mason Palicke said, “and possibly recruit some new players.”

The team was pleased with their record last year, breaking even. But aspirations are higher this year.

“I was pleased by our performance last year,” Toribio said, “but this team is determined to do better.”
