Glow Out dance to be held after exams
Student council plans dance following exams
January 23, 2018
After the stress of exams comes a fresh start to the second half of the year and a dance to begin positively. On Jan. 27, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, student council will be hosting a glow-themed dance in the gymnasium.
“This dance is not going to be like any other we’ve had in a while,” senior Cassidy Hough said. “People will really like this one, even if they didn’t like Homecoming.”
The first 400 people to get to the gym will receive a glow necklace. Students should wear white, pink, purple or other neon colored shirts so they illuminate in the black lights.
The same DJ company from homecoming will be playing music at the event, and students are encouraged to request “school appropriate” songs, according to student council adviser Steve Haley.
Ticket prices are $5 and admission is limited to Utica High students. A school I.D. is required for entry.
