Mid year Snow Daze

Due to the large amount of snow and cold days recently, there are tons of rumors surrounding a possible end of the school year extension.

“We’ve had seven snow days but we are allowed six by the state, though any school is allowed to appeal for two of those days back,” Principal Thomas Lietz said, “so as of right now we are in the clear.”

Currently there will be not any additional days added to the end of year because there have been seven snow days. Even if one more happens the district can still appeal to the state.

Though if more than one more snow day occurs then it would be very possible that additional days are added, but as of right now students can stop worrying about the school year getting elongated.
