Science Olympiad holds first meeting

Quinn Johnston, Online Reporter

Science Olympiad is a competitive team of students, run by teacher Bryant Sebastian, focused around building projects and studying science-related topics. The club does this to prepare for the Macomb County Regional Competition in March.

On Sept. 26 after school, in room 167, the first science Olympiad meeting will be held.

“I’d like to think the team prepares students for challenging tests and college in general,” Sebastian said.

The competition will be held on March 21, 2020. Until then, students will be thoroughly preparing for it, as well as increasing their knowledge in science and teamwork skills.

“I want to join Science Olympiad because I really enjoy science,” junior Gianna Johnston said. “It will help me explore more scientific topics.”

If you would like to join, the Remind code is @ba09ea, and you can ask Sebastian in room 167 any questions.
