There have been many decisions about how to renovate the school; to make it a safer and more stable place. The first of these renovations is replacing all the doors in the building with newer and safer doors. This idea and many others for keeping safety are said to be the first phase of fix the bondage issue in school.
“The two doors at the entrance to my room were very light and stayed open all of the time,” teacher Stacy Smale said. “They were just replaced with the heavier doors that shut on their own, and I’m pretty happy about that.”
Smale says that doors’ quality in heavy weight and usage has since been better than the original’s weight and usage.
“My key doesn’t work in one of the new locks,” Smale said, “but I know they’re working on it so it’s not a big deal. I’m just glad our district has invested in safer doors throughout the school.”
This new renovation has also affected band students. This impact is said greatly impact them in years to come.
“The new doors are great, because I play the keyboard and I’m always getting stuck when I try to bring my instrument in,” Senior Savannah Wright said. “But I’m happy that there is finally an advancement in school that greatly affects me.
