Boys’ wrestling is a competitive sport, especially if you are on Utica’s wrestling team.

“We have a young team,” coach Clinton Davis said. “We have 6 guys that came back from last year, and 24 players total. Our first meet was December 7th, 2016. Matches for some wrestling were good, but I expect everyone to do better.”

“My record as of right now is 2-2. By the end of the season, I think my record will be 12-2. I most likely think our team will make it to the finals,” T.J Green said.

“My record right now is 1-1, and I expect my record will be 20-10 after the season. We have a young team, so I think we can make it if we practice [well],” Anthony Barbu said.

“My record as of right now is 5-2 and I have high hopes for a good record for my final year. With the progress we made, we will definitely make it to the finals,” Dominik Moreci said.

“My record as of right now is 2-6, and by the end of the season I want my record to be 15-9. I believe we will make it to the finals,” Drake Lundquist said.

“My record as of right now is 0-1, and I think it will be 15-15. I believe we will make it to the finals,” Chris Cammarata said

“My record as of right now is 8-1, [and] I want 35 wins. I don’t think we will make it to the finals because we have a young team,” David Stemple said.

“My record as of right now is 7-1. I think it we will be 30-1. We have a young team and they have less experience, so we will not make it to the finals,” Dylan Paige said.
