Sometimes all you need is a crepe, a baguette, and to socialize with other students. French Club is an after-school club that meets in teacher Sue Doyles’s classroom where students try different French food and participate in some of the country’s traditions.
Two club members, sophomores Nikole Rohn and Gavin Comeau, share what their favorite treat was and why it’s important to attend these club meetings.
‘’My favorite French food has been crepes with Nutella,’’ Rohn said. ‘’I would try crepes again in France because they would taste better.’’

Rohn shares her own view on why it’s important to attend these meetings.
‘’I think it’s important to attend these meetings,’’ Rohn said. ‘’You get more involved in school, and it’s just nice to know everyone.’’
Comeau shares his favorite French food and the nostalgic memories it brings back.
‘’My favorite French treat has been crepes,’’ Comeau said. ‘’They remind me of the time I went on a field trip in my freshman year to a French restaurant.’’
In conclusion, French club is a good way to interact with other students, eat sweet French treats, and gives students opportunity to learn about French culture.
